Lace, trim, and piping in Dressmaker
The phrase I kept seeing was lace trim not recognized. Build 403 says the studio fixed pieces that were not marked as lace trim. That is the closest official root cause, and it is a patch, not a hidden hotspot.
- Update to Build 403 or newer before you blame the cursor.
- Watch the 30 September 2026 trims video from Cozy Lives. The title says it covers basic trim controls. The description was empty, so I am not summarizing shots I did not log.
- Commissions can ask for a lace-trim length. KeenGamer prints lines such as Lace Trim at least 10 cm. I have not re-measured those jobs.
Trim and Proper asks for more than 50 metres of trim on a single dress. Heavy trim is an achievement, not a mistake. How to attach or remove a single lace run is not written out in the notes. Piping as a separate trim type is also unconfirmed. I will not draw a piping tool that the patch notes never name.
