Locked into the Dressmaker fabric table
I can quote the softlock Build 410 fixed, and I can quote players who say they cannot leave fabric selection. I cannot honestly merge those into one bug. The root cause was still open on 1 October 2026.
- Install the newest build. Build 410 fixed a tutorial softlock from opening the sketchbook before the bell.
- Check the brief and remaining budget before buying more fabric. Community guides call burlap free; check your current shop. The screenshot inventory entry of 5.00 has no unit label and cannot be used as a price.
- Missing purchased cloth is a separate discussion title. I have not reproduced it.
These are checks, not a diagnosis. If the table still holds you after an update, the Steam discussion board is the place the studio actually reads, and Ruan has asked reporters to attach the save.
