Dressmaker save files
Steam confirms Cloud support. For a local Windows folder, two replies in a Dressmaker-specific Reddit thread give the same path, and the original poster reports a successful transfer. This is community evidence, not a directory inspected on this machine.
Windows folder: player-reported
The reported Windows 11 location is C:\Users\[your user name]\AppData\LocalLow\Cozy Lives\Dressmaker. Replace the placeholder with your Windows user name. The original poster says copying the folder transferred a shop successfully. A second reply names the same folder. This is not a claim that the path has been tested on every Steam or prototype build.
- Close the game before copying files. Check that the folder exists and contains your recent save data; do not create an empty folder as a substitute.
- Copy the entire folder to a separate backup location. Keep the original files and record which game build produced them.
- Before a restore or transfer, back up the destination too. Do not delete the only copy or overwrite files while Steam is synchronizing.
- If the path is absent or a transfer fails, contact publisher support with the build and operating system. macOS and Steam Deck paths are not verified here.

Steam Cloud can restore synchronized data on the same account, but it is not proof of a local folder or a guaranteed recovery. The studio asks for a save with bug reports. Share it privately with support, not in a public comment.
